Beeluvly's Shoe Favourites 2009

I hope you have all been following this summer’s trends because I have some more to throw at you. It’s all about the shoes in 2009 and I have the hottest designers with the wildest styles.

40 year old Alexander McQueen has certainly made his mark in the fashion industry and everyone seems to be taking notice particularly to his shoes. Here are my faves.

Picture 1 (From Left to Right): For stars like Rihanna and Taylor Momsen, this black buckled high heel shoe is the perfect fit, at $1,155 a pair.

Picture 2: This sexy red Swarovski peep toe heel is something I see Beyonce or Mariah Carey wearing, as well as me if I could afford it of course, but they sure can at $1,995 a pair.

Picture 3: Finally, the perfect all year round boot that can be worn casually or dressed up. This sock boot retails at $1,585 a pair.

Who doesn’t love a hot pair of pumps or the right platform for an evening out. Look no further than French designer, Christian Louboutin who has been a celebrity favourite for years now. Here are my faves.

Picture 1 (From Left to Right): I was looking through Saks Fifth Avenue and came across the wildest, most ridiculous looking pair of heels, but needed a second look at them to realize they are super creative heels that anyone would be lucky to afford. This Italian made pair retails for $1,295.

Picture 2: For that leopard print loving girl, I’ve included these hot ankle boots perfect with any outfit, but kudos to the risk takers who step out in prints. Fierce! This pair retails for $1,095.

Picture 3: A hot new take on Mary Jane pumps? Louboutin designed a suede version of the popular shoe and priced it at $855. I love them!

I was surprised to hear when Elizabeth and James first came out, that behind the line were the Olsen twins! Who would have thought they could pull together such a hot line of clothing, accessories, and shoes.

Picture 1 (From Left to Right): With a back zip and elastic straps on the front, these shoes are totally wearable all day long and don’t boast the pain stilettos would. It retails for $325 a pair.

Picture 2: I would have never expected a Christian Louboutin-looking design from Mary-Kate and Ashley! This snake-embossed wedge is super creative and wearable all day with its leather lining and padding. It retails for $375 a pair.

Picture 3: A business chic shoe I had to include is the pair of laced oxfords. With its shiny heel and leather material, it makes for the perfect match in a business ensemble at a reasonable $295 a pair.

Now I know what you’re probably thinking… reasonable prices with this crazy economy? Reasonable compared to top designers are the prices of Elizabeth James, but don’t worry, all my picks are fantasies to me as I’m practically living out of a cardboard box, so here are my recession-friendly choices.
