Lo-Fang is Matthew Hemerlein. He’s a singer-songwriter who draws from folk and electronic music. He opened for Lorde at the Sound Academy in Toronto.
With huge dark drape in the background, Matthew sounded so honest and raw on stage. I knew who Lo-Fang was prior to this show. But many in line did not. However, I could see the crowd really enjoying his music as soon as he started performing. He is definitely one to keep an eye out for. And he will be headlining his own tour in just a few months.
