Loving Life at Lollapalooza 2015

Chicago’s Grant Park was once again redone to fit hundred of thousands of festival goers. Yes, the annual musical spectacle known as Lollapalooza hit into high gear with Paul McCartney and Metallica as headliners. 

Given said legacy acts, Lolla was also filled with many rising stars and future headliners. We’ll give you a taste of tomorrows brightest stars.

Sweden’s Tove Lo was one of the most anticipated acts at Lollapalooza this year and delivered a dance-ready set on Friday at the Sprint stage.

Alabama Shakes‘ Brittany Howard was arguably the strongest vocalist of the entire Lollapalooza 2015 lineup.

The Mercury Prize winning, Grammy Award nominated rockers Alt-J took control of the stage on the first night. They took us on a 45-minute adventure with tunes from their “This Is All Yours” and “An Awesome Wave” albums.

Gary Clark Jr’s smartly crafted songs and bold energy brought the actual rock back to Lolla.

100,000 fans from around the world per day came to Chicago, IL to experience Lolla.

We couldn’t feel our face after The Weeknd hit the main stage. 

Seriously. We really couldn’t.

We know them for that Apple Watch commercial. But HOLYCHILD is the real deal with their brat-pop beats. Definitely keep your eyes and ears on them.

Australian electronic artist Chet Faker flew all the way over to see his beloved fans.

Kid Cudi was practically gliding across the stage like he was an astronaut. He was smiling the entire set and clearly thrilled to be embraced by the massive sea of humanity in front of him.

Oh Sam Smith. We know he can headline festivals in his own right. Definitely a future Lolla headliner.

Halsey is all the buzz these days with her hit track “New Americana”. Fans clearly love it.

The dance acrobat known as Tahliah Debrett Barnett aka FKA twigs, enchanted and mesmerized festival goers.
