85: Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand

Franz Ferdinand are an indie rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Their self-titled debut charted at number 3 in the UK Album Chart and they went on to win a Brit Award, and Mercury Music Prize and nominated for a Grammy in 2005. I’m thrilled to be joined by their incredibly talented lead singer Alex Kapranos. We explore food culture, forming their collaboration with Sparks, and recording new ideas on the iPhone.
