The Sheepdogs at the Danforth Music Hall

Bright lights, huge sound and a sold out crowd, not one but two nights in a row.  What more could you ask for at a Sheepdogs concert.  The Sheepdogs played the Danforth Music Hall to two, sold out, enthusiastic crowds and I have to make note of the age group in the crowd, they were anywhere from 19 to 60 year olds rocking right along with each other enjoying every second of the show.  For those of you who may not have been able to catch the show you can see it for a very limited time on Periscope.  (Periscope is a live streaming app and The Sheepdogs decided to stream their show)

The Sheepdogs hail from Saskatchewan and are the first unsigned band to make the cover of Rolling Stones magazine in 2011 which is quite the feat to accomplish.  They recently released their album “Future Nostalgia” in October 2015.  The show tonight is at the beginning of their tour so I highly recommend buying tickets soon if you plan to attend a show in another city because I can almost guarantee most, if not all of their shows will be sold out.

When The Sheepdogs started playing “Southern Dreaming” the fans erupted into cheers that were deafening, mind you I could probably say that for just about every song they played beginning and end. If you like 1970’s style, guitar driven riffs, and just plain loud music The Sheepdogs are definitely a band for you.  And they of course played my favourite “Feeling Good” which is actually featured on “NASCAR the game: Inside Line”.

I had the opportunity to interview them earlier in the day before their show and I must make mention of how kind and easy to talk to they were. (The interview will be posted soon).  This was my first time seeing The Sheepdogs live and I will be back and hopefully soon.

Once again I must make mention of the crew, because without them there is no show!

Concert Photographer at Live In Limbo. Started concert photography due to the fact that I love music but do not have a musical note in my body, so this is the next best thing as far as I am concerned. I love the energy rush you get coming off the stage from the performers. I am a hardcore animal fanatic and will go out of my way to help them. My nickname is Miniwheats which was given to me years ago and most people do not know my real name. Twitter @minismemories
