Meaf Loaf shuts down Yonge Street for Bat Out of Hell

Meat Loaf made a guest appearance and sang alongside the cast of the new Jim Steinman’s Bat Out of Hell: The Musical in front of Ed Mirvish Theatre Monday evening.  It was a short set of 4 songs from Meat Loaf’s massive selling album of the same name. The songs written by Jim Steinman was first conceived as a musical in 1975, and was staged onced in 1977. 
Ed Mirvish, director Jay Scheib and followed by Meat Loaf, said a few words about the production, which is slated to open in Manchester, England in June then arrive with a much “bigger stage act” here in Toronto starting Oct 14. Tickets are already opened to the public here!
