Video Premiere: “Feed On Me” by The Jon Cohen Experimental

From the artist:

“The song is inspired by a story of buddha who gave up his own life to feed a starving animal (in a past life). Although it’s just an allegory, I liked the significance of that, the idea of sacrifice, what it means to give up something you love for someone you love or for the benefit of others. It’s something that we need more. By saying feed on me, we’re saying “use me”  “take what you need from me” . I really connected with that story somehow and liked the words “feed on me” basically another way of saying, I’m here for you, I’ll do anything for you”. I have a baby on the way (well my wife does anyway ;), and I’m already starting to feel that “feed on me” vibe, of knowing intrinsically I would do anything for this child, for this innocence.”
