Concert Reviews

Arkells at Tribute Communities Centre

Arkells have become everything I knew they’d be, a really awesome live band with music we can relate to. They are the Tragically Hip of the new generation and I’m really glad to see them again.

They opened the show with a weird version of Amazing Grace…I didn’t get it, it was as if they were testing their microphones before getting into Making Due, Leather Jacket, Private School and many others keeping the small crowd singing and dancing throughout the setlist.

Singer Max Kerman has really elevated his live performance into future legend status, he is really great live, great like Bruce Springsteen and Melissa Etheridge like performances,  giving you your 100% money’s-worth in exchange for good music and performance.
