“WE.ARE.PARAMORE” cheerly screams the lead singer, Hayley Williams, of the genre neutral band, Paramore. Playing a incredible three hour and half set with openers, Soccer Mommy and Foster The People, the night was electric.
Paramore took stage quietly as the night grew upon the Budwesier Stage. Opening with their song “ Grudges” off their latest fifth studio album, After Laughter (2017). Sporting a colourful 80s stage set up, Paramore got every member in the audience off their feet. As a night grew , the band played fan favourites like “That’s What You Get” as well as a revamped and dance-er version of their song “CrushCrushCrush.” A memorable moment of the night was when the band stripped down to play heartfelt songs like “26”, a song that about healing and heartbreak and an acoustic version of Drake’s hit “Passion Fruit” which the band recorded earlier this year during their BBC 1 radio visit.
Closing their set with their hit single from the album, “Hard Times”, the crowd was ready to sing their hearts out.
