Record Store Day (RSD) has finally announced this year’s list of releases, which will be appearing at independent record stores April 23rd,2022. On their website they state that RSD is officially April 23rd; but due to production delays there will also be a drop on June 18th.

Some of the notable releases this year includes Taylor Swift – who also happens to be the 2022 RSD Global Ambassador – who will be releasing a 7” single of her song ‘The Lakes’, along with a contribution to the limited edition Portraits of Her compilation. Foo Fighters will be releasing a 7” “Re-Versions” of a pair of Medicine at Midnight tracks (“Making a Fire,” “Chasing Birds”) featuring contributions by Mark Ronson, Preservation Jazz Hall Band, the Dap Kings, and more. Other exclusives include a picture disc version of Kacey Musgraves’ Star-Crossed and the first vinyl pressing of Childish Gambino’s Kauai EP.
