Montreal-based, Scotland-born producer and composer, Aether, has shared his new single “Tourmaline”. The track will be featured on his forthcoming EP, Moonstone. Inspired by the way raw minerals form into polished gemstones, the new record sees Aether sample work from an original ambient composition and rework its structure through a refined soundscape of dreamy keys and atmospheric textures.
Speaking about the song through a press release, Aether shared : “Originally built around an ambient foundation, Tourmaline was given its name through its prismatic nature and how its ambient roots glimmer through in new light.”
