Rising Country singer/songwriter Mackenzie Carpenter is wholly in her element in her new song “Boots On.” Out today via The Valory Music Co., the unabashedly flirty, clever and twangy track finds the young talent lovesick, craving some kisses and trying her hardest to coax her beau back home. Tempting her man to play hooky by living out what many a man’s daydreams are made of, Carpenter cheekily tries to rope him in with what she is…or isn’t wearing.

The toe-tapping track, with its playful charm and familiar bouncy beat, plays out like a scene from a Rom Com and would be right at home on any Kate Hudson movie soundtrack.
