Video Premiere: “Sincerely, Me” – Nix Ironstone

Canadian alt-rock artist Nix Ironstone continues to build on her bold new rock sound with her new single “Sincerely, Me,” (Patriam Records) and accompanying music video.

With its soaring guitars, explosive hooks, and razor-sharp lyrics, “Sincerely, Me” transforms the end of a one-sided, toxic friendship into a sarcastic yet empowering goodbye. Produced and co-written by Chris Dimas and Taylor Perkins of JUNO Award-nominated band Bleeker, the song captures the moment frustration turns into freedom and you realize that losing you was ultimately their loss. Directed and produced by AJ Astle and Jake Sauve of Roadhouse Productions, the music video blends high-energy full-band performance with darker, cinematic and dreamlike visuals, moving between intimate candlelit scenes and the energy of the stage to reflect the song’s themes of anger, confidence, dark humour, and reclaiming your power.

Nix has built a reputation as a passionate advocate for women in music through initiatives like HarmoniaFest and the Harmonia Songwriter Series, creating opportunities to support and amplify emerging female artists and songwriters.

With a bold shift in sound, she is stepping fully into her most authentic artistic identity, delivering music that is raw, cinematic, and unapologetically powerful.

From The Artist: “I love being able to take the emotion behind a song and bring it into a visual world. With ‘Sincerely, Me,’ I wanted that world to feel a little dark, a little sarcastic, but ultimately empowering. Because the song came from a real friendship that ended in my life, it felt important to weave pieces of that experience into the video and, in a way, physically put parts of that friendship to rest. There are little moments and details throughout the video that represent me letting go and putting that chapter behind me, and I love that viewers can discover some of those pieces for themselves,” said Nix Ironstone. “The song came from something that genuinely hurt, but it’s really about reaching that point where you can look back and realize that losing you was their loss.”
