That was pretty much the atmosphere last night as Video Games Live stopped in Toronto at the legendary Massey Hall as part of their 2011 North American tour.
Personally, I’ve been to the “big” VGL show at E3 last year, however the intimacy and history of Massey Hall only brought everyone together. No matter where you were seated, you almost felt as if you were on stage yourself.
Toronto’s VGL was beautifully performed by a local symphony orchestra and choir. In addition to that, vocalist and flutist Laura Intravia was in attendance to provide her voice to the God of War, Metal Gear Solid 3 soundtrack and then performed her loveable “Flutelink” Zelda skit.
Overall, it was a brilliant night of pure nerd nostalgia. Anyone who bought a ticket would have felt right at home.
