James were in town in support of their Latest double mini album releases “The Night Before” and “The Morning After”. James sprinkled the new songs “Porcupine”,”Tell Her I Said So”, “It’s Hot”, “Dust Motes” and “Crazy” into a set that spanned much of their career and included much of the fan favourites. One of the best things about watching James is seeing Tim Booth let loose and dance. He spent most of the night trying to get everyone in the crowd moving. A tough endeavour at a seated venue he himself described as “stiff”. Booth repeatedly jumped into the isles to dance with anyone who would follow him. Finally during “Laid” Booth invited some of the audience to jump up on stage. Quite a few more than expected made it up and a dance party ensued. James finished off the set with “Sound” and returned for the encore playing “Out To Get You” and “Sometimes”. Just as they did two years prior the crowd sang along with the band as if they hoped it would not end.
