PEELANDER-Z, the hyperactive Japanese Action Comic Punk group based in New York City, was initially formed in 1998 by Peelander-YellowPeelander-Red, and followed by Peelander-Blue, after joining in downtown NYC. At live concerts, you’ll see the rock group in colorful costumes reminiscent of Japanese Animation, though they describe their getup as their flesh. Peelander gigs guarantee intense and inane audience participation and a great opportunity to exercise with the crew.” More photos after the jump!
