The New York Dolls is a rock group from New York City and was started in 1971. After many years until 2004, the crew reformed with three of their original key group members, two of whom, David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain, carry on to this day and have now released two records of new material. The first and original bassist, Arthur Kane passed away shortly after their first reunion show.The crews’s new age punk sound personified much of what was to come in the punk rock scene.
