Anti-Venue Tour Preview

With Canada being in such close proximity to the United States, there are endless opportunities to bridge two of the most thriving music communities. Such is part of the objective of the Anti-Venue tour, a unique sensory experience that provides a platform for creatives and artists from both countries to share their craft and bring it to intimate audiences.

Presented by Haute La Vie and RexWorld, the first stop of the Anti-Venue tour will take place in Toronto on Saturday, June 18th and will kick-off a promising series of shows that will change your perception of what a concert can be. A hip-hop and R&B-oriented event with poetry, painters and singers, the Toronto date will include city-natives Ricky Storm, Troy Phoenix, Anton Lovely, and Jimy Powers and friends Hitch Burney, Ez Amadi, Billie Essco from across the border. Saint Opal, an incredible singer from Buffalo, New York who recently opened for Raury, will be headlining.

Cast aside all ideas of your typical show and prepare for a collision of musical performances, visual art and fashion at SET in Toronto. With live painting, face & body art and pop-ups from Toronto designer U.G.L.Y. Fedo and Buffalo Vintage Clothing shop “The 2090’s”, this is a rare Saturday night plan that challenges you to leave your inhibitions behind and find beauty in the most unexpected of places.
