East of Avenue is comprised of Noel Thomson and Sean Fischer, this is the first single off their upcoming debut full length set for release in late spring/early summer 2017. “Last of the Daydreamers” follows the success of their debut single “Paper Planes” which grabbed ears across the country with a placement on a Walmart Canada ad. On the upcoming album, East of Avenue co-wrote with the likes of Alex Tanas (of Magic!), Liz Rodrigues (Eminem) and Gavin Slate (Kira Isabella, Royal Wood).
“We both grew up playing in bands all throughout high school. It was a different time. No cellphones, limited internet, and the only way to advertise our shows was posting flyers on street poles. We were dreamers. And we did it without any technology.
This song and video is our journey through those golden years. The video profiles all the “daydreamers”, the artists and creative minds in our city that keep that spirit alive. As well as original footage from our own childhood.” -East of Avenue
