Rock music’s quirkiest contributors, Slo Motions, are back with another bonafide rock number, “Leaving With Nothing”. The new single is the follow-up to 2016’s action-packed, 5 song EP. Built on the water-tight rhythm section of Adam Cannon (drums) and Pete Moss (bass), and slathered with slick, tone-strong guitar riffs courtesy of Corey Brouwer, “Leaving With Nothing” is the anthemic, relatable, summer smash we’ve been waiting for.
Bursting onto the rock music scene in August 2016, their debut, self-titled EP was the product of a tireless year spent churning out hits reminiscent of early Foo Fighters and Alice In Chains. Recorded with Overload Studios’ Brandon Pero, “Leaving With Nothing” continues to see the band evolving their unique brand of uptempo, melodic, witty rock.
From the artist : “It’s about going through an awkward and confusing time in your life and hoping you’ll take away something positive from the experience, like some sort of lesson, but fearing that you really won’t in the end”.
