From The Artist : The You Should Be Sleeping – EP is a peek at what’s coming with the new full-length album, Place Holder. I am fascinated with people and how they behave and interact with one another in their most intimate relationships and vulnerable moments. Two people, existing in their own individual, personal realities, are trying to navigate one another. Emotions can feel intoxicating, words can become unforgiving. You say one thing, but mean another. What do I even mean anymore? How can I be more articulate? Open like a door, or at least a window. Even when we are not at our best, we can think we know what is best for someone else. But you won’t get your answers staying up, spilling red-wine guts when you should be sleeping.
