Artoffact Records have announced their latest addition to their fast growing roster family – Uruguay’s Hangwire!
Thrilled to be finding a home at Artoffact, the band shares the following statement:
“We’re really glad to become members of the Artoffact family and we hope this way our music can reach new places and people.”
Imprinting the grey colors of their native city of Montevideo in their own melancholic lyrics and straightforward compositions, the band is comprised of singer Andres D’Souza, guitarists Nicolás Bank and Federico Teixeira, bassist Gastón Leites, drummer Tommy Airala and keyboards Eduardo Pi.
Earlier this year, Hangwire released their debut album, Farewell. With this landmark release and the important partnership with Artoffact, the band is looking very forward to further establishing themselves through a partnership that has them poised alongside countless contemporaries and a label that takes pride in having deep roots in the scene.
