Saturday night at Lee’s Palace was the place to be for an evening of exhilaration and genuine good fun! From Boston, the band Magic Man held their own when kicked off the night with their catchy tunes and explosive energy!
Headlining was Cincinnati’s own Walk the Moon. The band rocked out on stage showcasing vivacious dance moves and great up-beat indie rock. Their high-spiritedness was enough to get anyone moving, however, their great rhythm and dynamic percussion, creative synthetic melodies and captivating guitar riffs made this band interesting to listen to as well! They were able to bring you to the here and now, allowing you to just let loose and enjoy, as they created an atmosphere of optimism that was both exciting and stimulating!
The current band formed in 2010, and has already been able to sell out their show on Canadian soil. They filled the intimate venue with enthusiastic fans in Toronto who were buzzing with energy and appreciation for this playfully talented group.
This reviewer was definitely filled with only “good shit” by the end of the evening.
