Paolo Nutini, Daniela Andrade at Sound Academy

Scottish pop-rocker Paolo Nutini electrified the Sound Academy in Toronto. He was like a young Otis Redding or James Brown and even had us dancing in the photo pit (just a bit). His second album Sunny Side Up (2009) debuted at the top spot on the UK album charts. On this tour he is performing in support of his latest record called Caustic Love.

Opening for Nutuni was Edmonton, Alberta native Daniela Andrade. She is a very talented singer whose stardom came to rise via acoustic covers on YouTube. It’s always great seeing our fellow Canadians get so much attention on social media and receiving some international spotlight.
