Seattle-based solo artist Perfume Genius (Mike Hadreas) performed at The Mod Club this Saturday and seriously, this has got to be one of the most beautiful shows I’ve had the pleasure of shooting. Hadreas was graceful and fierce. With the slow-motion convulsions likened to Thom Yorke and the breathy notes of [insert heartwrenching Icelandic band here], Perfume Genius certainly managed to leave fans hot and bothered. Yeah, ears are still ringing from the boy behind me shouting “I love you!” with every ounce of himself.
Do yourselves a favor, people… Light some candles, grab someone attractive (or adequate, you pick), and make sweet ass love to Too Bright. Followed by aforementioned lovemaking, put on your red lipstick and interrupt businessmen eating megashrimp.
