Disclosure with DJ Premier at TD Echo Beach

The sound of music engulfed the Lake Ontario attraction, giving a care free nostalgic summer ambiance to the lakeside venue. DJ Premier‘s engaging set oozed with classic hip hop DJ elements, providing a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. With throwback tracks like Fatman Scoop’s stay faithful, Fresh Prince theme by Will Smith , & Eve and Gwen Stefani’s Let me blow ya mind, Dj premier transformed echo beach into a Beach party. The New York Dj kept the spirits alive by talking to the crowd and hyping everyone up for the next track. The Dj ended his set with some classic house tracks to keep with his old school vibes and to transition the sounds from a place of hip hop to one more relatable to the headlining acts.

The Grammy nominated Lawrence brothers, musically known as Disclosure took to their musical creation pods which were fully equipped with an array of instruments to an erupting crowd full of cheers. A white bar ran across the LED panel behind them which fittingly transformed into White Noise when they started playing their first track the (vocal artist) driven White Noise. The white bar then transformed into a blue one for (fool for you).

After their two opening tracks, the musically inclined brothers officially welcomed the Toronto crowd to their tour, thanked the city for always welcoming them with open arms and dared the crowd to match the energy of the Drake concert they had attended a few nights before. Disclosure would then go into famous songs featuring Lorde & Stan Smith and dance classic You & Me. When playing The Weekend feature, Nocturnal, the duo would take a duet solo and wow the crowd with their (adj) fingers as they floated above the crowd on elevating platforms. The duo brought out a few special guests throughout the night for Thinking About Us and Willing & Able and got the crowd to transform into a sea of dancers with club bangers Bang That & When a Fire Starts To Burn. The brothers thanked the crowd for being such an amazing crowd and one of the loudest for their final stop on their tour. For their final send off, Disclosure wanted to see how loud the crowd would get for the final song of the evening and the crowd erupted when the first note of Latch played & sent the crowd into a dancing frenzy.

The engaging visuals, infectious sounds and cool lakeside breeze was the perfect summer evening for a grooving good time.
