Song Premiere: “Cab Fare” by The Alpacas

The Alpacas are set to release their debut LP. The Barrie Ontario group’s forthcoming was produced, engineered, and mixed by Kevin Dietz (The Cranberries, Alexisonfire, Placebo, Nelly Furtado). It was recorded at Metalworks in Toronto and Slipone Digital in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. Their record, The Best Is Behind You, comes out on October 14th.

“Cab Fare is partially about the end of a night out with your friends. Knowing that things in life need to change, although a big part of you wants them to stay the same. It’s a very twenty-something thought, but we felt compelled to document it. Plus, late night themes just go great with that guitar riff.”
