Living the Life at the MMVAs

It’s been a week since it all went down and I’ve finally found time to tell the tale. I lived the life of a rockstar as I flew in half way across the world from Copenhagen, Denmark to Toronto for the MMVAs. This was a star studded event I definitely was not going to miss.

The 2017 iHeart Radio MMVAs was hosted by the iconic Joe Jonas and Canada’s own Alessia Cara. Spectators had fun. But for Virgin Mobile Canada members, things got turned up to 11!

1. Walking the Red Carpet

Only important people get to walk the red carpet. Look at our fancy VIP lanyards. That’s us!

2. Killer Pre-Party

As members, we got to hang out in the super chill VIP lounge inside the MUCH building. I spent all night with my cool pals Jake, Meagan, Katia, and Liz! DJs, finger foods, fruit roll ups, and celebs. Good times.

3. Passing the torch with Camila Cabello

The world has been anticipating Camilla’s next moves since leaving Fifth Harmony. They actually closed out the MMVAs last year, so it was really cool to see her kick off this years.

4. Iggy Azalea is still the realist

Iggy is one of those artists that you just can’t ignore. Her song “Switch” is super catchy and is on my personal playlist. I loved her performance.

5. Amazing views from the Virgin Mobile platform

We got an almost closeup birds eye view of both stages and the catwalk. It doesn’t get any better than this.

6. DNCE rock the stage

Yes, Joe was the co-host of the MMVAs, but he worked double duties as performer as well!

7. Imagine Dragons gave us something to believe

In a solid powerful act, Dan and co. delivered one of the most moving performances in years at the MMVAs. COnfettii and Canadian flag and all.

8. Seeing Lorde in her element

The grande finale of the night was seeing Lorde give us the green light to party hard.
