NICK CAVE AND THE BAD SEEDS TO SPROUT AGAIN

If you’ve ever had the good fortune to experience Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds live in concert, I probably don’t have to tell you how they’re one of the most intense and emotionally inspiring rock acts ever.

If you missed out on seeing Distant Sky in theatres, highlighting the band’s return to the stage after an angst-ridden three-year break, have no fear – They are coming back October 28th to Toronto, a city that has always shown them love. It’s part of a select, four-city North American excursion that will also see Cave and his Bad Seeds visit Los Angeles, Washington and Brooklyn while continuing to celebrate their 35 years as a musical entity.

Besides Mr. Cave on vocals and piano, the seven-piece touring lineup will also feature longtime members Warren Ellis (piano, keyboards, violin, tenor guitar), Martyn P. Casey (bass), Thomas Wydler (drums) and Jim Sclavunos (vibraphone, percussion, piano), in addition to George Vjestica (guitar) and Larry Mullins (keyboards, piano).

Expect tears to flow from the almost assuredly sellout crowd (garbed mostly in black of course), unbridled outbursts of passion, and near-religious awakenings in the form of “Stagger Lee”.

Tickets for the event at Scotiabank Arena go on sale to the Toronto public April 19th @ 10AM ET, although there will be pre-sales starting as early as April 16th. Please see NickCave.com for more details.
