The Mary Onettes— the Swedish dream-pop quartet of Philip Ekström, Petter Agurén, Simon Fransson, and Henrik Ekström—release two new singles, “Hurricane Heart” and “Eyes Open (feat. Maja Milner of Makthaverskan).” In 2024, The Mary Onettes returned with renewed creative energy and a string of new singles, reaffirming their place in the modern pop landscape after a lengthy hiatus. Following the previously released singles “Easy Hands,” “Forever Before Love,” and “What I Feel In Some Places,” “Hurricane Heart” and “Eyes Open” showcase the band’s continued evolution—retaining their cinematic, overcast dream-pop essence while folding in new influences. “Hurricane Heart” and “Eyes Open” preview more new music to come in 2025.
