The Hustle Celebrates A Decade Of Uplifting Toronto Talent with Free Concert This Weekend!

The Hustle – an esteemed concert series produced by independent Toronto presenter, The Academy – announces the first event of their 10-year anniversary celebration. On Saturday, August 23 from 4 pm to 11 pm, they are highlighting a curated lineup of trailblazing local artists in Toronto, as part of Ontario Place’s SummerSeries in Trillium Park cultural programming.

Produced in a festival format, headlining the show is visionary multi-time Polaris Music Prize and JUNO-nominated rapper, producer, engineer and director, Clairmont The Second. R&B singer- songwriter, Leila Dey, innovative R&B/hip-hop-blending duo, TRP.P, soulful melody maker, Adria Kain, renegade rapper/singer, Roshin, prolific producer, Datsunn, and honest, prose-driven lyricist, Beaugé will share a setlist of new works and fan favourites alike.

Supporting DJs include Guelph-raised, Toronto-based progenitor, Elaquent, and multifarious Polaris Music Prize-nominated composer-producer, OBUXUM, who will keep th energy high with a top-tier tune selection between sets. A magnetic force known to illuminate numerous editions of The Hustle, creative/DJ/MC, TREMAYNE, will host the show.
