Rising metalcore kings Melrose Avenue are back with a new track – Cemetery Friend, featuring their friends and collaborators in The Funeral Portrait. The lethal track is a perfect blending of both bands’ sound, a song that is weird and twisted in all the right ways. For anyone who has ever needed their own friend to walk into the darkness with, the song will make you feel a little less alone.
MELROSE AVENUE SHARES OF THE TRACK:
We met The Funeral Portrait last year whilst out on tour with Ice Nine Kills and there was just an immediate connection that saw us all radiate towards each other. They have this awesome ability to make darkness feel theatrical and when we wrote Cemetary Friend we immediately knew that was what it needed, We essentially wanted this song to feel like a car crash between the 2 acts and we are pretty sure that’s what we’ve achieved here!
