Oscar Primer 2015: Final Picks

During the lead up to this year’s Oscars on February 22^nd I covered a lot of the nominees for the upcoming Academy Awards. This was not your usual Oscar primer, but in fact more of a “catching up to speed” series. I dissected a few films in each instalment by going over what the nominees are, and what chances it stands to win. In the last instalment HERE I covered “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, “Two Days One Night” and “Still Alice”. While I couldn’t cover every single nominated film, I did a good chunk of them. If you listened to our Capsule Podcast where we broke down some of the big categories our LiL experts made their predictions. Here they have listed who they think will win all the categories. The only catch was the team can only vote on categories for ones where they saw at least 51% of the nominated films. Next to the persons name they have included what films (if any) they did not see in the given category in brackets. If a voter did not see 51% or more of the nominees they have been removed from that category.
