Dave Matthews recently performed for a sold out crowd at Toronto’s waterfront venue The Molson Amphitheatre.
The show was delayed by a half hour due to a back-up at the ticket booth, however with the venues 11pm curfew the show had to start regardless of the in-house issues. In fact, the line ups didn’t clear until 1 hour after the show had started. Patrons were complaining and extra security had to be placed to calm the situation down. I personally missed 8 songs waiting in line for my review ticket.
I did however get to see my favorite Dave Matthews song “So Much to Say” being performed just as I had found my seat.
People were enjoying the show, dancing in the aisles and singing loudly.
When the song “You and Me” started the crowd erupted in cheers. Couples could be seen singing the lyrics to one another, hugging and embracing each other.
I had never seen Dave Matthews perform before, however I found that he was very humbled in nature and would repeatedly thank the crowd for coming and hanging out with him.
The songs that I did in fact witness where professionally performed, and they certainly captured the hearts of the audience.
