From The Artist : When writing for film or dance, there’s often a back and forth of numerous ideas and revisions, but sometimes you luck out and get it right on the first go. This was one of these lucky collaborations. Molly (McGlynn – the director), who I met through the Canadian Film Centre, sent me a cut, and I couldn’t stop watching – I think this film is really stunning, and I’m very grateful to be a small part of it. I’ve been fan of You’re the Worst for years, and Aya Cash is so so excellent in Mary Goes Round. Go see it !
