Video Premiere: “Photograph” by Royal Wood

From the Artist: “”I wrote this song with the talented Jessica Mitchell about losing my father to Alzheimer’s and the significance the photographs of him have meant to my family. Death comes to us all and the lives lost should be remembered. I’m grateful that I still have the days gone past with my father alive and well in his photographs. I hope this song and video help bring memories of loved ones back to life for others as well.”

The video for his track “ Photograph ” is from his brand new EP Love Will Linger. This marks the second release of 2018 for Royal, whose LP Ever After the Farewell came out in April. The album release show in Toronto was one of the last shows at the iconic Massey Hall before it closed its doors for renovations. Currently in the midst of a North American tour with Elise LeGrow , Royal is taking the message of mental health with him on the road. Pairing with CAMH (The Centre of Addiction and Mental Health) since the decline of his father, Royal has participated in their various campaigns and hopes to spread awareness on how embracing music can be an effective tool with mental illness therapy. “I’m honoured to be taking CAMH on the road with me for this tour to raise awareness and financial support to help end Alzheimer’s.”
