Song of the Day

Song Of The Day : “Time To Leave” by Basic White

One of our favourite local artists Basic White, return with a brand new music video for Time to Leave that is set to appear on their debut album “The Second Half” coming out on February 22nd.

The video is a fun and hilarious trip through London, Ontario as lead singer Riley White pops on his headphones and rocks out to the bands song lip syncing the entire way. His band mates Sandro and Jordan show up in the background in clever and unique ways every time there are backing harmonies.

For anyone who has been to London before, many places will look familiar weather it is boys alma mater Fanshawe College, Budweiser Gardens (home of the Knights), the CBC office and plenty of great local haunts. This pure rock and roll track with a touch of country rock shows what we might expect from the upcoming record, and it should have everyone very excited.

Basic White will be playing at The Horseshoe Tavern on February 21st with The Meringues and Running Violet.

From The Artist : “The video really is a showcase of the beautiful city we get to live in and the places we like to hangout. London is where we met and is the reason we all know each other so having the city featured in the video is something we really wanted to do. Our friend Tyrone Harding shot the video with us and really helped with bringing it all together. It was fun to be creative on something that was more visual as opposed to just the musical side of things.”

Follow the band on Facebook, Instagram and on Twitter.
