Rock supergroup, Saint Asonia (which includes Adam Gontier [ex-frontman of Three Days Grace], Mike Mushok [Staind] and Cody Watkins [ex-Art of Dying] ), has announced that they will be releasing their new EP Introvert on July 1st via Spinefarm Records. Along with the exciting news, the band had also shared their new single ‘Above It All’ earlier this month.
Speaking about their new single in a press release, singer Adam Gontier, said : “‘Above It All’ is about rising above all the chaos, negativity, judgment and living the life you want to, not the life that is expected of you by others.”
He adds, “The song was written during the first lockdown in Canada after COVID hit. None of us had ever been through anything like this in our lifetimes and no one really knew how we as a society should act and deal with a global pandemic. I really felt it gave people a great opportunity to search inside themselves about how best to deal with these crazy circumstances and choose how they want to live their lives coming out of this.” Pre-orders for “Introvert” are now available.
The band is also getting ready to play some shows in Ontario, which includes a stop at the Phoenix Concert Theatre on May 18th, ticket details + the rest of the tour dates can be seen here.
