Metal giants Megadeth and Lamb of God melted Toronto’s face off with a show of epic proportions at Budweiser Stage last night. Their co-headlining Metal Tour of The Year was originally scheduled for 2020, which then got postponed to 2021 where they unfortunately could not make it to Canada due to travel restrictions at the time. Following the enormous success of the first run, the bands decided to extend the tour for a second leg in 2022 which included the originally scheduled Canadian dates along with it’s original 2020 line up, which meant an absolutely stacked tour bill as it included Trivium and In Flames in the package.
Megadeth is gearing up to released their sixteenth studio album, The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!, some time this year (Singer, Dave Mustaine, has mentioned to Loudwire that they are currently aiming for July 8th but it might be pushed back due to distribution issues). While Lamb of God is currently on tour supporting the deluxe version of their 2020 self-titled release.
