Tokio Hotel are back with their new track “When we were Younger”.
In the song, the band looks back at their outstanding successful career, whilst trying to remain true to themselves and their friendship. “When we were younger” is like a love letter to ourselves. We felt like it was time to celebrate our friendship and brotherhood that’s been lasting for over two decades in a fun and light but also a sentimental and melancholic song. We wanted it to sound hopeful and positive and of course super catchy. A song that you wanna blast in your convertible with your besties on the way to a nice Sunday beach party. A song that would make you shed a happy tear at the end of a really lovely romantic comedy that gets you excited about life and the next chapter!“ says Bill Kaulitz.
As such “When we were Younger“ is everyone’s relatable story about making memories with your besties whilst looking forward to what’s next. And with an album announcement just around the corner, there is truly something to look forward to for the four band members of Tokio Hotel.
