Swedish heavy metal band, Avatar, kicked off their North American tour in Toronto last night at the Phoenix Concert Theatre. Despite Air Canada losing their luggage on the long journey across the pond, the band took it with stride as they gave Toronto a special experience by performing in matching Hawaiian shirts and cargo pants instead of their usual costumes. It was truly an unforgettable night.
Avatar released their eighth studio album, Hunter Gatherer, on August 7th, 2020 and are currently working on their new album.
