This is the third Steam Whistle UNSIGNED Indie Music Series show I’ve attended. I have nothing but great things to say about these events. The Steam Whistle people know how to put on a great show. Great local talent, beer, free water, great patio, air conditioning and for the most part really good lighting. I almost wish I was shooting a show here every night.

Whale Tooth was one of the bands featured at their latest event. The Toronto Band made up of Elise LeGrow(lead vocals), Norm Maschke(guitar and vocals), Alex Denike (guitar and vocals), Michael McCreary (bass) and Sep Noroozi (drums) are just pure fun. With sultry vocals, sweet hooks and catchy tunes like “Hibernation Song” and the spectacular “Clever” Whale Tooth is sure to have you at least tapping your toes if not dancing wildly on a dance floor somewhere.

Front woman Elise LeGrow is a pleasure to watch singing, dancing and shaking all over the stage. Whale Tooth is playing @ Rivoli on Friday June 18 as part of NXNE add them to your schedule, you won’t be sorry.
