Chloe agrees to help locate and work the crucial artifact, but before they can do so, they must elude Jones & Jones and Nightshade – two undercover psychic societies with their own agendas. Add to the mix Jack and Chloe’s increasing and often distracting intimacy, and you’ve got one fast-paced, sexually charged thriller.
Fired Up continually mixes large doses of mystery, excitement, and sexual tension, creating a fast-paced thriller with lots of action. The Winters Legend offers a great source of material, though it is sometimes lost in lingering details of Jack and Chloe’s romance. Readers who enjoy genre books of mystery, thrill, and romance should look forward to what the rest of this series may offer. Hopefully more may be done with the Winters Legend in future books.
