After a packed performance at The Mod Club on Friday there is absolutely no doubt that Allstar Weekend have some of the most dedicated fans around. There’s also no doubt that the band knows this. With half a dozen fans lining the back of the stage for the band’s set, and an entire song dedicated to pulling fans from the audience to “twerk” on stage, Allstar Weekend are fully aware of what their fans want. The five-piece group hailing from California wasted no time running through tracks from their latest EP including “Life As We Know It” and tracks from their 2010 self-tilted debut including “Journey To The End of My Life” with all five members lining the front of the stage. Each song seemed like a crowd favourite, but with fans that dedicated that’s really no surprise.
