Over the weekend, Toronto hosted VELD Music Festival at Downsview Park. A 2-days gathering of electronic acts and artists which after the success of it’s opening year in 2012, was back in Toronto for the second time to host the expected crowd of between 60,000 and 70,000, according to the producer Talal Farisi of INK Entertaiment, the local promotion company behind the festival. I received the information about the festival couple of days before the show. The schedule was divided into two days and two stages for each of the days, “Main Stage” and “Bacardi Tent”. Goin’ through the list of all thirty three acts, I came across Deadmau5, scheduled to perform as the headliner, for the second year, on the Main Stage, on Sunday, August 24th from 9:20PM to 11:00PM. I had to go!
