Claire Anne Taylor grew up in Tasmania’s ancient Tarkine rainforest, where she was born into her Father’s hands in the family barn amongst her five siblings. Taylor’s music reflects the wild, rich and creative world she was immersed in as a child. She has a powerful voice and rare, emotive style of delivery that evokes deep emotions in her listeners.
Taylor crafts soulful folk songs that take audiences on a journey of raw honesty. Her music ranges from warm, mesmerising ballads to epic anthems. With vivid storytelling, hypnotic melodies and raw, soul-tinged vocals, Taylor captures both the beautiful and dark elements of the human experience.
