Preview: iHeartRadio Jingle Ball, Toronto 2017

The bells are chiming, the lights are twinkling, eggnog lattes are getting passed around, the malls are more crowded, and there’s already been one snowfall. Yup, it looks like all signs point to the arrival of the winter holidays. What better way to mark this festive season than with one of the hottest concert events of the whole year? No, more snow is not an answer. Not even close.

The iHeart Radio Jingle Ball returns to Toronto on December 9th with an assembly of iconic pop stars and new era hitmakers, guaranteeing this year’s Jingle Ball is going to be larger than life. We mean that literally, of course, because Backstreet Boys will depart their Las Vegas residency to headline the Air Canada Centre. Without fail, this will be one of the performances of the year, especially considering that the boy band has one of the most loyal and dedicated followings here in Canada. We don’t mean to brag, but, we did kind of love them well-before the United States did.

We’d like to say quit playing games with our (sixteen year-old) hearts, but then we wouldn’t be as excited as we are to catch the very strong, talented, and oh-so-beautiful ladies who are taking over Jingle Ball. That includes Kelly Clarkson, who released her eighth (!!!) studio album Meaning of Life this past October, and the newly returned Fergie, whose follow-up to her 2006 solo album, Double Dutchess, is officially out there. Oh, and before we forget, we don’t gotta work – at least when it comes to seeing the four ladies of Fifth Harmony, because they’ll be bringing their incredible live show to the Jingle Ball as well.

Are you still here? Just want to make sure you haven’t passed out from all of this goodness, because there’s more. If you’re heading to Jingle Ball, congratulations – Post Malone, summer breakout Cardi B, and Noah Cyrus are all on this year’s roster. Now’s probably a good time to freshen up your memory for those those Bodak Yellow verses, as well as your Canadian flags. You know, so you can support rising Canadian stars Jessie Reyez, Ria Mae, and Virginia to Vegas with the true north Canadian charm we’re all known for.

We can barely contain ourselves, especially considering that Jingle Ball is just 3 weeks away! As reports have it, we hear that tickets are sold-out, but keep an eye out. You never know what surprises await you this holiday season. Stay tuned to our social channels as we’ll be hanging out at this year’s Jingle Ball, thanks to our friends at Virgin Mobile Canada (#MembersGetIt). Tis’ the season afterall.
