Song of the Week: Death Grips – Fashion Week

We’re starting up our “Song of the Week” feature on LiL. However, in the first one of 2015, the rug was pulled out from under us.

The always unconventional Death Grips promised us two albums earlier this year. They released The Money Store early 2014. Then “broke up” and canceled their tour dates. And we even wrote a highly viewed tribute of their 10 best tracks.

But out of nowhere today, the trio released a 14-track instrumental album on Soundcloud for free called Fashion Week. Being the cryptic artists they are, each track is called “Runaway” followed by a letter. All together, it spells out “JENNY DEATH WHEN”.

So, apparently they are not broken up. Or are they?
