Katie Crutchfield is the singer Waxahatchee. Their newest album from Merge Records Ivy Tripp drops in April, and while that may seem a little far away, they gave us a little taste with this track called “Air”. The band’s name comes from a creek near Crutchfield’s childhood in Alabama. The song is slow paced but beautiful. Her voice is clear yet well airy. Give it a listen.
