Here’s a track from a father/sons trio called The WizBangs. They’re based out of Pennsylvania, and they’re set to release their debut album. Their music is a mix of rock, rockabilly, jazz and indie singer-songwriter. The father, Jim Feenstra, wrote their single, “I’ll Find a New Love, Too” that smacks a bit of old 60s rock-n-roll.
“IFANLT is a lovers quarrel; or more appropriately, an ex-lovers quarrel. It’s an “I’m hurt and I’ll show you” tale that we’ve all probably experienced in one way or another. When crafting the lyrics and story, it just spoke to me as one of those 60’s rockabilly songs. Because it was more spite and anger than hurt, I wanted it up-tempo and I just had to have a sax in it.” -Jim Feenstra
The WizBangs are having an album release show on Saturday Feb. 4th, at 7:30 PM at BLDG 24 LIVE in Reading, PA.
